Together with the great mathematician Roger Penrose, Stuart Hameroff developed a neurocomputer or quantum theory of consciousness. The 20-year development of this theory will be discussed at a lecture on October 10.
At the invitation of the Moscow Center of Consciousness Studies, a well-known scientist Stuart Hameroff is coming to Moscow. In joint work with Roger Penrose, Hameroff develops a quantum or neurocomputer theory of consciousness, the main position of which is the idea that consciousness arises in connection with quantum effects in the microtubules of neurons. This theory has been developed by Hameroff for 20 years. The ups and downs, the results of its painstaking 20-year work will be discussed at a public lecture on October 10 at the Yandex lecture hall, 16 Lev Tolstoy Street. Details on how to get to the lecture are here.
